Our Story...
The Holy Spirit came to me, Rogelio, on a hill in El Salvador, through a calm breeze, I felt His direction as a friend told me "We need to build a church in a small town in Cangrejera." That was February of 2016. In the following months and years, that feeling was cemented as I became more comfortable with the strange language, customs, and traditions of the solid Christian soldiers of that country. I have made mistakes in my life; however, I will never regret any of the work we have completed in that far away land. I say we because, many souls have donated a lot of money to complete the 16 churches and 30 homes for widows, fatherless and poor. With the help of the Holy Spirit, Lisseth Erazo, Misael Nieto, Rita Piper and many others, we are able to continue to a special program annually called Fiesta con Jesus. Sindy Palacios is carrying the torch of leadership now. Our prayer for that program continues today: "Please Lord save our youth to your book of life before the gangs can get their ugly claws into them." Our goals continue today; to help the widows, homeless, fatherless, sick, and poor, and to build a place of worship for poor communities unto our Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and Faith.
Our Passion...
We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in the 21st century. We are willing to go where the Spirit of God leads us to tend to the most vulnerable people in society - the widows, orphans, and hungry. Our great passion however is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through our efforts. Without Christ there is no eternal solution, much less a temporary relief in a world of suffering. Love is the reason for what we do every day in the lives of others. We have dedicated donors, servants, churches, and missionaries ready and willing to "go" as God leads us. Matthew 28:18-20
Our Reach...
Our journey has taken us to the needy in El Salvador and other places domestically to build a secure tomorrow for the continuance of the Gospel from generation to generation. As we press forward with the mission God has laid before us, we are reminded of the reach of Jesus during his earthly ministry. He stretched his hands wide to receive our sin, guilt, shame, and suffering and then died on a rugged tree. Christ laid down his life for a world that had betrayed him and left him alone. Because of this we also spread our hands wide to bring a resurrection to the oppressed, locally and internationally, in the hopes that they will be raised to a new life in society and in Christ Jesus. To God be the glory. Matthew 22:34-40

Rita's Story...
In 2016 I was asked to go to El Salvador. I said no for at least six months before I finally admitted I couldn’t afford to go. Wasn’t two weeks later I received a call that someone had donated funds to pay for someone’s trip. What was my excuse now?
I still faced obstacles. I was 70 years old, spoke almost no Spanish, felt Inadequate of telling my testimony and my children were against my going They were concerned for my safety and still are
July of
2017 I made my first trip and I fell in love with the people and their country
My heart ached seeing such need and such suffering the people endured. All the same time there was so much joy and love. And their desire for a place to worship God I witnessed people on their knees at two o’clock in the afternoon praying. Something I have never experienced here.
I’ve been able to share Jesus, to love those who need to be loved, to take clothes to those less fortunate, give food to the hungry and help with medicine all the while helping built homes for the poor and churches for worship. We have even started a sewing ministry to use to tell of Jesus
Fiesta con Jesus, Party With Jesus, was started in 2016 with one church. Today we have 13 churches participating for four days learning about Jesus Our goal is to reach the youth before the gangs get their
Claws into them. Last year in the four days we had 365 give their lives to Christ
I’m now 76 and still have no doubt God called me to go: acts 1:8 and Matthew 28:16-20
Misael's Story...
It was in 2016, I remembered my preacher, Maximino Rosales, approached me in Sunday church service and asked me if my English was good because the next day they were going to help a missionary work on an area church. This guy needed help setting tiles in a new church God was building through him. I answered to him, "Well, my English is not that good but it is not that bad either." Maximino said, "Ok, I'll pick you up at 7AM." The next day preacher, myself, and the other workers gathered together to work on the church floor for the missionary. We immediately began working on the flooring. We saw this white guy with blue eyes standing near a window. As he walked closer to me, he asked, "Do you speak English?" I answered, "Yes, I do some." "Great, my name is Rogelio." After this introduction, he asked me to help guide him to a market in El Puerto. While driving toward El Puerto we exchanged contact information. At this time, neither of us were thinking about doing missionary work. I was hoping for a few more days to learn more English from someone native to the language. I believe he was thinking of finishing this job and going home to continue with his life.
Since then, we have been working for The Kingdom of The Lord as The Master directs us. This mission is the best gift I have ever received. This is the best job I could have hoped for. I am doing what I asked God for when I accepted Jesus as my Savior. My prayer was "God all I want to do is work for you. I'm here to do your will and work on whatever you want me to work on. It does not matter if it is cleaning toilets at my church. All I want is to work for you." This mission is the gift from the Good Lord to me.
Sindy's Story...
My name is Sindy Palacios, I am 29 years old, I accepted Jesus into my heart at the age of 13. I was baptized within the same year and since that day I have served Christ with love... I started working with children at the age of 13. I worked two camps of the Children's Bible School and after two years they sent me to the La Playa camp. Many chose not to go because it was a remote area with many needs but the children had to hear about Jesus and his love. Currently I have 75 children and a team of 3 members, Misael, Wilber and I, every Sunday I get up early to go see them and share the love of Jesus. It has not been easy, I have had to face many things, very exhausting days, sun burns, wild animals, mosquitoes that bite a lot, terrible flies, long roads to walk, sometimes even walking from my house until I get to where they are 26km (16 miles), without money, and without eating... but at no time has God left me. Only his Holy Spirit accompanies me at every step I take, and the children's smile motivate me to keep going, they are everything to me and I say it is worth it to see them eager to hear about Jesus. I have seen many generations and I have been in this beautiful place for 15 years where there are hugs, smiles and a thirst for Jesus. I have had to bathe the children, change them, dry them, give them food, protect them from dogs, pigs or cows that come out unexpectedly, I know that Jesus gives me the courage and strength to continue.
On May 24, 2021 I received a beautiful message from brother Rogelio and Rita where they proposed me to be the new director of Fiesta con Jesús, I responded with the following: "I am going to pray for 3 days. I need Jesus to give me the endorsement to accept this beautiful proposal,"and that's exactly how it was on the third day Jesus told me "I'm with you, I won't leave you alone, keep working for me." ❤️ I told him that if brother Rogelio and Rita cried together, it would be a new adventure.
I had never worked in this way before but I knew something that Jesus would help me and give me the ability to do excellent work.
So I started with a new proposal which consisted of training the leaders in the areas of choreography, crafts, dynamics, Evangelism for children, discipleship and prayer networks with children, so that they could innovate in Fiesta con Jesús.
With my brothers Melvin and Alejandro, we trained other churches and everything has been a success.
Now Fiesta con Jesús is more innovative and many children have known, grown and shared the love of Jesus 🙏 during Fiesta con Jesús. In 2021 I visited each church and I could see the passion that teachers and pastors have serving children. The children are hungry for Jesus. More than 260 children were saved last year...Everything is worth it for one. I continue helping the churches and advising them. Today we have 14 churches and more than 90 teachers who have prepared themselves to be able to celebrate a Party with Jesus in 2022.
God is good and this year we will see if Gloria is in the children's smile.
IXOYE has changed my life, apart from being the director of Fiesta con Jesús, I also visit families in need, we have taken pregnant women to hospitals with Misael, we have to get up early on many occasions 😊💪 tending to sick children, elderly and widows. We bring food to the needy, medicine to the sick, wheelchairs to children, build wonderful home projects😍, and in these details Jesus keeps saying I love you. I give thanks to God and the donors to see the the smiles of the children in each project. To them it is like winning the lottery, it is priceless, it is the best of the best, let us never stop sharing the love of Jesus. I thank God for the team that is here in El Salvador, Misael, Juan, Miguel, Melvin, Carlos, Lázaro and Alfredo. They are my family too and I love them very much😊☺️❣️.
Just as I love Rogelio and Rita, they are a blessing from God.
What else do I do?
I am a teacher by vocation, I have 120 students between the ages of 15-22, high school coordinator with 26 co-workers, secretary of the Bible Institute, Director of Fiesta con Jesús with 14 churches, Director of the Children's Bible School with more than 500 children from my church and 35 teachers, vice president of Escuela Bíblica Infantil at a national level with more than 28 churches, I work as a volunteer for Samaritan's Purse, I am also Regional Coordinator of the group Sur Islas with more than 200 churches and group leaders with 75 children and I am a sister of 5 men😁. I have more than 50 diplomas and secular titles, but the best title I have received and that I enjoy is being a daughter of God. I love working for Him and teaching children and helping others learn about Him. Jesus changes life. Jesus gives strength. He is all we need and Glory will always be for Him.
Brenda & Nate's Story...
Nate (my husband) saw a call for help to go on the next mission trip to El Salvador from Doyle's (Rogelio's) Facebook page. Nate called Doyle for information about the trip. Nate and I met for lunch and he explained the mission projects and gave me all the reasons he couldn't go on the trip. Through our discussions previously, I knew this would be the perfect thing for Nate. While he described the trip and gave all the reasons he could not go, I looked at him and kept asking him, "What are you thinking?" He asked back, "What?" He really didn't see that this was what he needed to do to fulfill God's calling. He left me to call Doyle back to get more details.
When I got home that evening, he said that he let Doyle know he was interested and gave me some more information. I immediately said that I wanted to go also. We got on the phone with Doyle to ask detailed questions. I was concerned about safety and needed to know I would be returned back to the States.
We got our passports and everything lined out to go.
What this trip meant to me was more than I can describe. The minute we got to the job site I was greeted by a sweet 12 year old girl with a smile and a huge hug! She claimed me as her own all week. I was able to be used in significant ways to be a blessing and care for others while sharing the love of Christ. As the children gathered around me the workers watched. As I worked hard helping to move rocks, bend metal, or mixing concrete, the love and respect had shown through. I helped a man realize his need for medical attention by assessing his blood pressure. I gave the locals the idea to supply prenatal vitamins to ensure healthier babies, and delivered food to the widows and orphans. Nate preached the gospel of Christ and we were able to supply Bibles, Sunday School materials, and make other donations.
By the time we left this beautiful country and people, they were stuck deep in our hearts. We had respect and love for them and they for us. Our host family treated us like family with such love and grace. They went above and beyond for us. This whole experience was unforgettable.
